Kamal Haasan's birthday wish for Mohanlal will melt your heart!

Mollywood superstar Mohanlal celebrates his 64th birthday and celebrities from various industries have been showering the superstar with wishes and blessings. However, it was Ulaganayagan Kamal Haasan’s wish that caught everyone’s attention. The legendary Tamil actor took to his X handle to pen a sweet note, praising the Mollywood superstar on his birthday. He ended the note by expressing hope that Mohanlal achieves the major feat of surpassing Malayalam evergreen superstar Prem Nazir’s record of starring in 500 films.

Kamal Haasan wrote, “Lead man for forty years among a very critical and discerning audience. 400 films? Some might exclaim in disbelief. I, on the contrary, am looking forward to him beat Mr. Prem Nazir’s record of 500 films. On his birthday, that is my best wish to him. The best of health to you, Mr. @Mohanlal, to break many more records. (sic)”

Unnaipol Oruvan: The only film Kamal Haasan and Mohanlal starred in together

Kamal Haasan and Mohanlal, the two living legends of Indian cinema, have surprisingly starred in only one film together: Unnaipol Oruvan, the 2009 Tamil film. The movie was directed by Chakri Toleti in his directorial debut. It revolves around the confrontation between an anonymous caller who has planted bombs in the city and a police commissioner who tries to hunt him down. Kamal Haasan’s daughter and singer-actress, Shruti Haasan, composed the music for the film.
