Kartik Aaryan reacts to Kangana Ranaut praising him; says ‘even Dhaakad would do well’

Today (May 20) sees the clash of Kartik Aaryan starrer Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 and Kangana Ranaut ’s Dhaakad. However, it seems the two stars are far from competitive and recently showcased their warm side for each other. After Kangana praised Kartik at a recent press conference, the latter reacted to the same by heaping words of appreciation on her and her movie.

Talking about the same to India.com, Kartik Aaryan said, “I am really happy unhone aise kiya. I watched that bit from her press conference where she said so. It feels good to know when appreciation comes from an actor like her who’s so good at her craft. Jinhone aaj tak performance par performance diye, unse jab aisi tareef mili toh main bahot khush hua.”

Kartik Aaryan also addressed the box office clash between Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 and Dhaakad, stressing that both the movies have the potential to entertain the audience in their unique way. The Pyaar Ka Punchnaama actor said, “I think the trailer of their film is also fantastic. There’s a different audience for both films. I wish her the best and I know even that film would do well.”

In the trailer launch event of her film Dhaakad, Kangana Ranaut had praised Kartik Aaryan and had lauded him for standing on his own in the industry. The Tanu Weds Manu Returns actress had said, “Nobody can get a solo release after the pandemic, naturally, owing to the backlog. There are many films, whether we talk about Hollywood or South films, each film is getting a mainstream release. So someone or the other comes in front. As far as Kartik is concerned, I like his work very much. I feel he is a person belonging to the current generation, who is standing on his own. He is doing his work, on his own caliber. He has come up on his own and I have a huge appreciation for him.”

While Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 is a sequel to the hit horror-comedy flick Bhool Bhulaiyaa (2007), Dhaakad is a high-octane female-led action spy flick. Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 also stars Tabu, Kiara Advani , and Rajpal Yadav . Dhaakad features Arjun Rampal , Divya Dutta , and Saswata Chatterjee in the lead roles.
