    Actor Katrina Kaif is currently basking in the success of Sriram Raghavan’s thriller Merry Christmas in which she featured alongside Vijay Sethupathi.On Thursday, the actor conducted an ‘Ask Me Anything’ session on Instagram with her fans. She made several revelations about her experience in Merry Christmas and also about her personal life. One of the users asked what is the best thing about being a Punjabi daughter-in-law, to which she replied, “Dher saara pyaar aur ghar ka bana hua sarso ka saag aur maki ki roti with white makhan (A lot of love and homemade delicacies).” For the unversed, Katrina married actor Vicky Kaushal in November 2021.

    She shared a lovely picture of herself hugging Vicky Kaushal when a user asked what was the best reaction she got for Merry Christmas. She captioned it as, “Jhappi from Hubby.” Further, she answered about how hard it was to learn Tamil for Merry Christmas’ Tamil version. She said, “Very very hard…. But I had great support from @actorvijaysethupathi all throughout…” She also mentioned about her working experience, saying, “Merry Christmas has been one of the most gratifying experiences in my career. Sriram sir gave me one of my toughest roles yet, he gives you tough challenges, but the outcome made me feel very proud to be a part of this film.” She also shared her favourite scene from the film. 

    Upon release on January 12, 2024, Merry Christmas earned Rs. 13.83 crores nett so far. The film revolves around two strangers whose romance on Christmas Eve turns into a nightmare. The film was shot in both Hindi and Tamil versions with different supporting casts. The film has Sanjay Kapoor, Vinay Pathak, Pratima Kannan, and Tinnu Anand in its Hindi version. Radhika Sarathkumar, Shanmugaraja, Kevin Jay Babu, and Rajesh Williams feature in the Tamil version. Radhika Apte and Ashwini Kalsekar have made special cameos in both versions.
