Real life couple Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh would be the first guests to grace Karan Johar’s much-awaited chat show Koffee With Karan Season 8. The recently released promo shows Karan welcoming the hot couple referring to them as 'Bollywood royalty' and praises them saying “smoking hot” as the two actors twin in black. However, Ranveer hilariously responds, “Thanks tharki (desperate) uncle.”

When asked who she shared the best onscreen chemistry with besides Ranveer, Deepika said Hrithik Roshan. She said, "I think I have an amazing chemistry with Hrithik, which everyone is going to see." Ranveer responds with a surprise, "Can't wait to see it, Lala." Ranvir also reveals that he had first proposed to Deepika in 2015. “2015, I proposed to her. I see pehle koi aur aa jaye, mein ja ke chappal rakh deta hun,” said Ranveer. Deepika jokingly referred to this as 'advance booking.'

The two actors tied the knot in 2018 in an intimate wedding at Lake Como in Italy after dating for six long years. Karan also asked Deepika if she would ever date Ranveer's character, Rocky Randhawa, from his film Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani. ‘I am married to Rocky Randhawa,” she said with a laugh. Meanwhile, reports say, Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh fell for each other on the sets of Sanjay Leela Bhansali's film 'Ram Leela". The other two movies where both worked together are 'Bajirao Mastani' and 'Padmaavat'.

In an interview with Time magazine earlier this year, Deepika said with Ranveer, she is her “most vulnerable self.” She has also said, “We either grow up being influenced by the movies or the relationships and marriages around us. The sooner you accept that the journey two people are going to be on is going to be very different from someone else’s journey, the better it is.”
