Kriti Sanon's mother feels Karan Johar is playing down her daughter's name on Koffee With Karan 7, here's the proof

Filmmaker Karan Johar has been brewing interesting conversations with several Bollywood biggies on his infamous Koffee couch, Koffee With Karan. From Alia Bhatt to Kiara Advani, every Thursday new celebrity guests have opened up about their personal and professional lives on the chat show. And after each episode, Twitterati put out their thoughts and opinion about the gossip and revelations served on the show. Following the last episode of Kiara and Shahid, a Twitter user claimed that Kriti Sanon is being intentionally targeted by Karan and that too in a bad light. And surprisingly, Kriti’s mother Geeta Sanon has somewhat approved of it.

During the last episode, Karan revealed that Kriti Sanon was first offered the role in his short film for the Netflix anthology titled, Lust Stories. He said that Kriti turned down the character that explicitly portrays women’s sexuality because of her mother, and eventually the role went to Kiara. Reacting to the same, a Twitter user alleged that Karan is trying hard to play down Kriti in his chat show. The user also referred to a previous episode in which Sonam Kapoor named Kriti on the list of underrated actresses, to which Karan laughed off and replied, “They think they're very big stars in their head, and you've called them underrated!"

Bt guess wht she achieved evrythng without u nd u can't pull her down.” Kriti’s mother Geeta not only noticed the tweet but also clicked the ‘like’ button, thereby siding with the user’s views.

Meanwhile, Kriti has multiple projects in her kitty. She will next be seen in the horror comedy Bhediya with Varun Dhawan. Besides it, she also has Ganapath which reunites her with Tiger Shroff, a pan-India film Adipurush opposite Prabhas and Shehzada co-starring Kartik Aaryan.
