‘Kuchh toh pakk raha hai’: Prateik Babbar hints at Imran Khan’s comeback; leaves netizens with high hopes

Imran Khan instantly made a place in our hearts when he began his career in Bollywood as an actor with Jaane Tu... Ya Jaane Na back in 2008. His resemblance to his uncle Aamir Khan along with his chocolate boy vibe and acting chops won us over. He soon emerged as a heartthrob. So when he suddenly disappeared from the silver screen, it was heartbreaking for his fans. Much to our delight, Imran has become quite active on social media since the last one month. He has been sharing throwback posts from the sets of his films. This left us wondering if something is cooking!

Well, Imran’s Jaane Tu... Ya Jaane Na co-star Prateik Babbar has now hinted at the beloved star’s comeback, confirming that something is definitely cooking. In a chat with Instant Bollywood, Prateik opened up about his recent call with Imran. He shared, “We spoke on the phone, we spoke on the phone as well. It was good to hear his voice. Kuchh toh pakk raha hai.” Sharing how he also wants Imran back in films, Prateik went on to add, “Maine toh hope chhod diya tha, maine toh give up kar diya tha. Lekin beech mein abhi ek hafte pehele baat hui humaari phone pe. Toh kuchh toh pakk raha hai.”

Prateik then shared a message for Imran which is something we all want the actor to know. He stated: “Mr Imran Khan, the country wants to see you back on the big screen. I mean, listen, the ball is in your court.” Well, Prateik has left netizens with really high hopes. In the comment section below, one social media user shared, “Imran is a very talented hero he must come back”, whereas another fan wrote: “Luck, delhi belly, jaane tu ya jaane na, once upon a time in mumbai again, mere brother ki dulhan. We miss you imran. Please come back soon 🙌.” A third netizen shared, “Log bhi bohot hypocrite h jb wo young tha tb to use accept kia nhi ab jb ek dum se disappear ho gya to ab inko wapas uski acting dekhni h 🤦‍♂️.”
