    After a long wait, actor Ram Charan’s RRR has finally hit the screens on Friday and has already begun registering record-breaking revenues in both the domestic and international markets. On the first day of release, the film has made Rs 223 crore worldwide as per reports.

    Directed by ace filmmaker SS Rajamouli, the multi-lingual film revolves around two freedom fighters who fought against the British Raj and Nizam of Hyderabad. While Ram Charan plays Alluri Seetharamaraju, Jr NTR essays Komaram Bheem in the film. The film also has Bollywood actors Ajay Devgn and Alia Bhatt in cameo roles.

    According to the social media buzz, Ram Charan is walking away with a bigger piece of cake as the film is believed to essentially revolve around Rama Raju character played by the actor.     Before RRR, Ram Charan has acted in the filmmaker SS Rajamouli’s 2009 film Magadheera. The film is a reincarnation-period drama in which he played two different roles of Kala Bhairava and Harsha. The actor’s powerful performance was highly appreciated by both audiences and critics.

    In the 2016 film Dhruva, the versatile actor Ram Charan essayed a police officer who uses unconventional ways to nab criminals. His ways of investigating the high-profile case in the film delighted his fans and the film became one of the most memorable films of his career.

    The 2014 film Yevadu is an adaptation of the American drama Face/Off directed by Vamshi Paidipally. The film marked Ram Charan’s first collaboration with superstar Allu Arjun who appeared as a cameo in the film. The action drama is also attributed to establishing his image as a mass hero.
