'Looks like her Cute Nani': Ranbir Kapoor's niece Samara Sahni is winning the internet with her rendition of Girl On Fire

Ranbir Kapoor’s sister Riddhima Kapoor Sahini is quite active on social media and often shares pictures from their family gatherings and events. In the latest post, she dropped a video of her daughter Samara Sahni singing Alicia Keys’ song Girl On Fire. The 12-year-old looked confident while she performed on the stage in a black dress. While few netizens praised her beautiful voice, others found her to have a stark resemblance with her grandmother Neetu Kapoor.

Taking to Instagram, Riddima shared Samara’s video and wrote, “My Pride”. Soon after, Samara’s aunt Karisma Kapoor dropped a heart emoji. On the other hand, a user praised, “Talent runs in the family… she’s all there.” “Wow, so grown up!!!!! Superb!!!” reacted a second user. “Goosebumps ! Samara Sahni ur on fire ! Beyond proud,” commented a third user. “Closely resembles Neetu Madam of Ghar Ghar Ki Kahani,” said a netizen. Another added, “Looks like her Cute Nani.” Check out the video here:

On the other hand, a section of netizens also commented on Samara’s singing skills. “Not good singer sorry.” “Isssshhhhhhh not a single tune matches with the notes,” read a comment. “Why she is screaming?” and “When did she grow up? She was just a kid last I checked in,” were other comments.

Earlier this month, Samara remembered her late grandfather Rishi Kapoor on his birth anniversary and penned a heartfelt note. “Happy birthday to the best nana in the world!!💗 you are always there in my heart and I love you so much. I will never forget you and all the fun times we had! we all love u and I think of you every single day,” he captioned the video enclosing Rishi’s memorable moments from cinema.

Samara often gets spotted with her mother Riddhima by paparazzi in the town. Earlier this year, she was brutally trolled for being overly excited in front of the camera. Several netizens left harsh comments like “One more nepo kid getting prepared?” and “Must have practised a lot, too much pressure” among others. Meanwhile, Ranbir was last seen in Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar opposite Shraddha Kapoor. Up next, he will be seen in Animal, directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga.
