'Meri Ananya aisi nhi ho sakti': Dream Girl 2 actress caught smoking at cousin Alanna Panday's mehendi ceremony, leaves fans in shock

Ananya Panday is currently enjoying the pre-wedding festivities of her cousin Alanna Panday. Her cousin is set to marry her boyfriend Ivor Mccray in Mumbai on March 16, 2023. Earlier, the actress made news for her beautiful bridesmaid outfit she pulled off at a pre-wedding party. Recently, she made headlines for smoking cigarettes at a mehendi ceremony held on Tuesday night.

One of her fellow guests had shared a photograph that shows Ananya smoking during her cousin’s mehendi ceremony. The picture was pulled down from the site, but a Reddit member took a snapshot of the same and uploaded it on the platform. Soon after, fans were shocked to see their favourite actress smoking and they flooded the comment section with mean reactions. In a now-deleted picture, the actress was dressed in a beautiful white lehenga paired with a skimpy blouse. She could be seen smoking in one corner while the other wedding guests were busy having fun. “Was not expecting Ananya to be a smoker," wrote the Reddit user while posting the picture.

Reacting to the photo, one of the fans wrote, “Meri ananya aisi nhi ho sakti.” Another fan added, “Crap, I didn’t know this. She is that beautiful and has such cute lips, can’t believe she is a smoker. Dang.” A user stated, “It’s surprising because Ananya seems very health conscious. My guess is that maybe she does it to decrease her appetite. Perhaps as a way to keep her weight down? Or maybe she just picked it up during her party days pre-debut, but TBH I swear smoking cigarettes isn’t really a thing anymore with Gen Z.”

Apart from Ananya Panday, her parents-Chunky Panday and Bhavana Panday, and relatives–Deanne Panday, and Chikki Panday among others were also in attendance. Even Atul Agnihotri, Alvira Agnihotri, Helen, and Salma Khan also graced the ceremony. Meanwhile, workwise, Ananya will next be seen in Ekta Kapoor’s production venture Dream Girl 2 co-starring Ayushmann Khurrana.
