'My sweet heart Hema Malini' : Rakhi Sawant takes subtle dig at the veteran actress post her comment, calls herself 'Smriti Irani part 2'

After veteran actress and BJP MP Hema Malini took a jibe at Rakhi Sawant entering politics, the latter has now come up with a possible counter dig at her. Rakhi Sawant took to her social media handle to share a video wherein she announces that she will be entering politics in 2024. She also can be seen slyly thanking Malini for her comments on her.

Talking about the same, Rakhi Sawant can be seen wearing red attire wherein she says that she will be contesting the elections in 2024. The Main Hoon Na actress further says that the news was supposed to be announced by Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Minister Of Home Affairs Amit Shah but before that, the news was given by Hema Malini. Rakhi went on to call the Sholay actress her ‘heart’s Dream Girl’ and ‘Sweet Heart.’

The actress goes on to say that she is ‘Smriti Irani part 2’ referring to the latter’s transition from an actress to becoming the Minister Of Women and Child Development in India. Lastly, Rakhi Sawant once again thanked Hema Malini for her comment on the actress about to enter politics. Take a look at the video.

Talking about Hema Malini’s comment, she said the particular statement after reporters asked her about actress Kangana Ranaut ’s speculated political debut from Mathura. This visibly irked the veteran actress and she said, “You won't get the politicians who want to run from Mathura elected. But you put it in everyone's head that only film stars should contest elections, that Mathura only wants film stars (as elected representatives). Tomorrow, Rakhi Sawant will also contest elections.”

Hema Malini got many negative reactions from netizens after her comment on Rakhi Sawant. Meanwhile, talking about Rakhi Sawant, she is currently in a happy space with her whirlwind romance with beau Adil Khan . The two also appeared in a music video recently.
