‘Not a croissant’: Kareena gets trolled as she begins Taimur’s birthday countdown with a snap of him devouring dessert

A few days ago, Kareena Kapoor Khan and husband Saif Ali Khan hosted a big bash for their son Taimur Ali Khan . It was like a pre-birthday celebration for the star kid, who will turn 6 years old on 20th December this year. Much to our delight, his aunt Saba Pataudi took to her social media handle to share sneak peeks from Taimur’s grand birthday bash, the theme of which was Star Wars. While the birthday boy was dressed in a casual blue t-shirt, his baby brother Jeh Ali Khan looked adorable in a pink and white check shirt.

Today Kareena, Saif and Taimur stepped out for a family brunch together. The Veere Di Wedding actress shared glimpses of the same on her official Instagram handle. While she tried out filters for the first time in one post, Bebo gushed over her ‘hot husband’ in the next. She also began a birthday countdown for her son. Along with a candid snap of Taimur devouring a French pastry, Kareena shared, “This family’s love for croissant continues…❤️Going for it…❤️One day to go… Mera Tim Tim ka birthday…❤️” Everybody’s favourite star kid Taimur looks extremely adorable in this picture. Take a look:

In the comment section of Kareena’s post, her sister Karisma Kapoor, Saba and celebrity designer Manish Malhotra showered love. But there were many netizens who trolled the actress for naming the dessert wrong. One social media user pointed out: “this is not a croissant, it looks more like a pain au chocolat🧐”, whereas another comment read: “humare paas puff kehte hai usko bas andar kuch aur hota hai.” Meanwhile a third netizen joked, “Vada pav khata hai kya Tim Tim?” Well, both the dishes are a kind of dessert and they are absolutely delicious. So what’s in a name? We are sure Taimur would have enjoyed a croissant equally!
