That Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas are being the most hands-on parents to their toddler daughter Malti Marie Chopra Jonas is known to all. On top of it, recently the beaming granny Madhu Chopra revealed delightful news in an interview. She said that Priyanka and Nick might show their daughter’s face to the world on her first birthday.

Talking to New Indian Express, Madhu Chopra made this happy revelation which might leave the fans overjoyed who wish to see Malti Marie Chopra Jonas’ face soon. Apart from this, Priyanka Chopra’s mother also spoke about her granddaughter’s name being inspired by her own. She said that it came as a surprise to her too and that she came to know about the same during the child’s Naamkaran ceremony.

Apart from this, Madhu Chopra also gave some insight into her grandchild’s Naamkaran ceremony. She said that according to the traditions, it is the child’s paternal grandfather who whispers the name on the child’s ears along with words of wisdom and that Nick Jonas’ dad, Paul Kevin Jonas Sr did just the same. Furthermore, she said, "I give a massage and Nick gives her a bath and changes her diapers.”

However, being the doting grandmother, Madhu Chopra revealed that she has told Priyanka Chopra not to expose her daughter too much in front of the screen be it on TV or on the phone. On this, she said, “I told Priyanka, with screen time at such a young age, your daughter will get mote mote chashma.” Well, thanks to granny dearest, we got to know quite a lot of endearing details about Malti Marie’s Naamkaran ceremony and also a hint that we might see her face soon.

Recently, Priyanka Chopra celebrated her 40thbirthday along with her husband Nick Jonas, mother Madhu Chopra, daughter Malti Marie Chopra Jonas, and some of her close friends. We saw a sneak-peek of Malti’s face but Priyanka made sure to hide the same with a white heart emoji.
