Earlier this month, global icon Priyanka Chopra Jonas finally returned to India after three long years. This was her first trip post becoming a mother, so the beauty kept it short and quick. But fans were over the moon with joy to have their Desi Girl back home. Well, Priyanka returned to LA a few days ago where she reunited with her husband Nick Jonas and their daughter Malti Marie Chopra Jonas . She also shared a heartwarming family picture, where she held her daughter in her arms while Nick watched them dotingly.

Well, after a hectic week in India, Priyanka is now getting ready for her daughter’s very first Christmas! There is still time for Santa Claus to arrive but the celebrations have begun in the Chopra Jonas house. Priyanka is super excited, which is evident is a post shared by her on social media. She can be seen pointing at a Christmas tree behind her, with a goofy expression on her face. In another snap, the actress is sitting in front of a fireplace with Malti Marie on her lap. The mother-daughter duo are twinning and winning in white!

Rumors suggested that Priyanka’s trip to India was for back to back meetings with filmmakers Sanjay Leela Bhansali and Vishal Bhardwaj to discuss future Bollywood projects. But during her time here, she focused on launching her hair care range Anomaly and went on to visit Lucknow to see the work being done by UNICEF. On the film front, the actress will next be seen in James C. Strouse’s upcoming romantic comedy drama Love Again, co-starring Sam Heughan, Celine Dion and Russell Tovey.

Priyanka did not meet up with the filmmakers as rumors suggested, but fans are eagerly waiting to see her in a Hindi film again. Let’s see what happens!
