After days of speculations around their wedding, actors and love birds Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt finally tied the nuptial knot on 14th April at the former’s house in Bandra. Dressed in matching ivory Sabyasachi outfits, the couple got married at their most favorite spot in the house where they had spent 5 long years of their relationship-- the balcony. Post a traditional Punjabi ceremony, the husband and wife cute a 3-tier wedding cake and raised a toast in inside photographs from their day of love.

Much to our delight, an unseen video of their varmala ceremony has now gone viral on social media. As most of us have seen in weddings, it is like a tradition for the bride and groom’s brothers and friends to pick them up on their shoulders in order to make things more interesting. But Ranbir decided to add his personal touch to this special ceremony. He got off from their shoulders and knelt down to make it easier for the love of his life. Ranbir then gave Alia a sweet kiss, which has left fans gushing over them.

Ranbir and Alia were joined by family and friends at their intimate and heartwarming wedding. The guest list included Ranbir’s mother Neetu Kapoor, sister Riddhima Kapoor, cousin sisters Kareena Kapoor Khan, Karisma Kapoor and others from the Kapoor clan. Meanwhile, the ladki-waale included Alia’s mother Soni Razdan, sister Shaheen Bhatt , father Mahesh Bhatt and filmmaker Karan Johar , amongst other close friends from the industry.
