Ranbir Kapoor on life with wife Alia Bhatt, says 'We still haven't realized that we are married'

Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt tied the knot in an intimate but fairytale ceremony on April 14, 2022. While fans still cannot stop gushing over the fact that the two are now officially man and wife, Ranbir spoke about his life post-marriage in a recent media interaction. The actor said that he and Alia still cannot believe that they are married.

Ranbir Kapoor also mentioned how he and Alia Bhatt jumped right into their professional commitments post their wedding. The Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani actor revealed to Dainik Bhaskar saying, “There was no such major change. We are together for five years. We thought that if we get married then we have done it, but we also had some commitments. The very next day of our marriage, we both left for work. Alia went on her shoot and I had also gone to Manali. When she comes back from London and my film ‘Shamshera’ releases, we are thinking of taking a week off. We still haven’t realized that we are married.”

While Alia Bhatt jetted off to London to start shooting for her debut Hollywood project, Heart Of Stone , Ranbir Kapoor headed off to Manali to start shooting for the Sandeep Reddy Vanga directorial Animal opposite Rashmika Mandanna . Sharing some lovely wedding pictures post tying the knot with Ranbir, Alia had stated, “Today, surrounded by our family and friends, at home … in our favorite spot - the balcony we’ve spent the last 5 years of our relationship - we got married. With so much already behind us, we can’t wait to build more memories together … memories that are full of love, laughter, comfortable silences, movie nights, silly fights, wine delights, and Chinese bites. Thank you for all the love and light during this very momentous time in our lives. It has made this moment all the more special. Love, Ranbir and Alia.”
