Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone twin in white as they return from Bengaluru after a weekend with latter’s family

Bollywood’s reigning queen Deepika Padukone has been soaring high on the love received by her recently released film Gehraiyaan. The domestic noir, directed by Shakun Batra , got mixed reviews from fans and critics, but audiences were left in awe of Deepika’s powerful and nuanced performance. Well, Deepika jetted off to Bengaluru to celebrate the film’s success with her family a few days ago. Her actor husband Ranveer Singh , who was last seen in ’ 83 , joined her for the weekend getaway and also shared sneak peeks from the actress’ family album on social media.

Well, after spending a fun weekend with the fam, Deepika and Ranveer returned to their Mumbai home today. A few hours ago they were snapped at the airport together, twinning in casual yet cool white outfits as they walked hand in hand to their car. While Deepika opted for a long top paired with matching pants and black sunglasses, Ranveer went for a white t-shirt, black track pants and a beanie. His white sunglasses added more glam to the look! Deepika Padukone reveals her family’s reaction to Gehraiyaan: ‘It was a little hard for them to digest’ 

Earlier last week, Deepika had shared her family’s reaction to her portrayal of Alisha in Gehraiyaan. She revealed that they appreciated her performance and also how mental health was depicted in the film. The Padukones were proud of Deepika, but it was also difficult for them to digest what her character goes through as the story progresses.
