    It is late actor Rishi Kapoor ’s second death anniversary and his wife Neetu Kapoor and daughter Riddhima Kapoor Sahni remembered him in a rather special way on social media. Neetu shared a video from the special episode of the reality show Dance Deewane Juniors which she judges. The episode was dedicated to remembering the late actor and Neetu was be seen in tears being surrounded by memories of Rishi Kapoor.

    The actress in the promo of the show is joined on stage by the parent of one of the young participants. She is moved to tears as the participants mother sings a beautiful song for Rishi in remembrance.

    In tears which sitting on her seat, Neetu also said, “Main roz kisina kisi se milti hoon aur roz koi na koi mujhe yaad dilata hai. Sabki ek story hai unke saath.Koi na koi, kahin na kahin se jude hue hain Rishi ji."

    Sharing the promo on Instagram, Neetu wrote, "Today is two years since rishi ji left us … loosing a partner of 45 years was difficult n painful at that time the only way to heal my heart was to keep myself mentally occupied .. Movie n television heldped me achieve that 🙏 rishiji will always be remembered n will stay in everyone’s heart forever ❤"

    Apart from Neetu celebrating Rishi Kapoor’s life and journey on her show, their daughter Ridhimma Kapoor also shared a picture from her childhood with her father. Baby Riddhima is in Rishi Kapoor’s arms in the sepia toned picture and she captioned this adorable memory, “Papa ♥️”.

    The late actor was diagnosed with leukemia in 2018 and he sought treatment in New York for a year and returned to India cancer free. However, the illness remerged and claimed his life on April 30, 2020 as he was being treated in a Mumbai based hospital.

    In 2019 while speaking about his recovery, the later actor had expressed his gratitude towards his family Deccan Chronicle in an interview and said, “Neetu has stood by me like a rock. Otherwise, I am too difficult a person to handle as far as food and drink are concerned. My kids Ranbir and Ridhima have really shouldered my problems.”
