Runway 34 vs Heropanti 2 box office collection: Ajay Devgn starrer performs poorly, Tiger Shroff's film hits rock bottom

    Ajay Devgn’s aviation thriller flick Runway 34 and Tiger Shroff’s actioner Heropanti 2 were released on April 29 and despite quite a lot of buzz, failed to do wonders at the box office. Both the movies have also failed to perform during the Eid holiday. Looking at their performances in Basi Eid, it will be safe to say that both the movies will have the verdict of a box office flop.

    Ajay Devgn ’s aviation thriller flick Runway 34 and Tiger Shroff’s actioner Heropanti 2 were released on April 29 and despite quite a lot of buzz, failed to do wonders at the box office. Both the movies have also failed to perform during the Eid holiday. Looking at their performances in Basi Eid, it will be safe to say that both the movies will have the verdict of a box office flop.

    Talking about the same, according to a news report in Koimoi, Runway 34 has only earned Rs 1.75 crore to 2.20 crore on its 6thday (May 4). The total box office collections now only stand at Rs 23 crore to Rs 23.45 crore. Apart from Tiger Shroff’s Heropanti 2, the Ajay Devgn starrer will also be facing tough competition from Doctor Strange In The Multiverse Of Madness which caters to the same target audience as the aviation film.

    Talking about Runway 34, it also stars Amitabh Bachchan , Rakul Preet Singh , and Boman Irani in the lead roles. The movie has also been directed by Ajay Devgn himself. It is based on the real-life incident of a Jet Airways flight that had made a narrow escape in landing while it was flying from Doha to Kochi.

    On the other hand, Tiger Shroff’s Heropanti 2 which was seeing a major fall in the collections has further hit rock bottom. According to a news report in Bollywood Hungama , the movie has only amassed Rs 2.15 crore to Rs 2.30 crore on its sixth day. The total collections of the movie now amount to Rs 23 to Rs 21.65 crore.

    The negative reviews for the movie from the masses and the critics alike further sealed the fate of the movie at the box office. The movie is helmed by Ahmed Khan. It also stars Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Tara Sutaria in the lead roles.
