Sara Ali Khan, Ayushmann Khuarrana in an action-comedy film? Here’s all the inside info...

Ayushmann Khurrana and Sara Ali Khan fans are in for a treat as the actors will be seen on the silver screen together for the first time in an untitled action-comedy film. The movie is being backed by Dharma Productions and Sikhya Entertainment.

Sara Ali Khan and Ayuhmann Khurrana’s first on-screen collaboration

Taking to X (formerly Twitter), film critic Taran Adarsh revealed that Ayushmann Khurrana and Sara Ali Khan are starring together in an action-comedy film.

The tweet said, “AYUSHMANN - SARA ALI KHAN TO STAR IN DHARMA - SIKHYA’S ACTION-COMEDY… Dharma Productions and Sikhya Entertainment reunite, this time for an action-comedy headlined by #AyushmannKhurrana and #SaraAliKhan. Written and directed by Aakash Kaushik… This is Dharma and Sikhya’s third theatrical collaboration… Shooting has begun… Title will be announced soon.”

Reacting to this post, X users expressed their excitement for the upcoming film. One user wrote, “Wah wah! Action, comedy, and the magic of Ayushmann and Sara, this movie's gonna be a sixer! Can't wait for the title reveal. Best wishes to the entire team!” Another user wrote, “Blockbuster loading.”

While the shooting for the film has begun, it is expected to release in 2025.

Cast and crew of the untitled project

The untitled action-comedy film is jointly produced by Dharma Productions and Sikhya Entertainment, marking their third collaboration. Written and directed by Aakash Kaushik, the film has Sara and Ayushmann in lead roles.

This film also marks the directorial debut for writer Aakash Kaushik, who has previously written the screenplay for the blockbuster film Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2.

Sara was last seen in the historical drama film titled Ae Watan Mere Watan. Produced by Dharmatic Entertainment, Ae Watan Mere Watan did not go well with the audience. The actress has Metro..In Dino with Aditya Roy Kapur and Sky Force with Akshay Kumar in the pipeline.

Ayushmann, on the other hand, was last seen in Dream Girl 2, opposite actress Ananya Panday. The actor has Badhaai Ho 2 in the pipeline.
