Shah Rukh Khan pens heartfelt post for ‘stars of KKR’ after IPL victory

Shah Rukh Khan's Indian Premier League (IPL) team, Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR), was crowned three-time champions earlier this week. After KKR won the IPL final match against Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH), Shah Rukh and his family were seen celebrating the victory in the VIP stand. Now, the actor has penned a long and heartfelt message for the team members, calling them the "stars of KKR".

Shah Rukh Khan’s heartfelt post for KKR

Taking to Instagram, Shah Rukh posted a picture of himself along with his family and the whole KKR team as he gave a flying kiss. In the picture, the actor is seen holding the IPL trophy. Shah Rukh cpationed the picture, "To my boys…. my team…. my champs….these blessed candles of the night” …. My Stars…of KKR. I cannot do a lot of things and you cannot do them all either…but together we manage most of them. That’s what @KKRiders stood for.”

Shah Rukh also praised other team members whose guidance and love contributed to the team’s victory. He wrote, “Simply being together. Beyond the ability and guidance of @gautamgambhir55….the earnestness of Chandu, the love of abhisheknayar & leadership of @shreyasiyer96... the dedication of Tendo, @bharathi__arun @1crowey & @leamonnathan... this team is built on no hierarchy just pure respect for collaboration.”

Quoting Gautam Gambhir’s words that probably led to a stronger team spirit in KKR, Shah Rukh wrote, “GG said if u can’t support a single vision as a team….u are leading to a division in the team. Each player understood that. Young and old. The Trophy is not a testament of having the best players in the team….but a proof of each player being the best for the team. Boys you are all made of Star stuff!! Love you all and don’t let the dancing stop!"

Shah Rukh also thanked KKR fans for sending love their way. He wrote, “Also, so happy and thankful for each and every KKR fan and I hope all around the world youngsters learn that Tough times don’t last….Finally Tough and Happy teams do! Korbo…Lorbo…Jeetbo….Always. See u all at the stadium in 2025.”
