Shamita Shetty and Raqesh Bapat break up; will continue to be friends

Actors Shamita Shetty and Raqesh Bapat met each other for the very first time on Bigg Boss OTT last year, hosted by filmmaker Karan Johar . They instantly hit it off and eventually fell for one another. But the two decided to wait till they were out in the real world to explore their relationship. After the show ended they hung out and by the time Salman Khan ’s Bigg Boss 15 came along, Raqesh and Shamita were a happy couple. Then in March this year, rumors of their break up began doing the rounds.

It was reported that Shamita wanted Raqesh to shift back to Mumbai from Pune, which apparently became a root cause of their differences. However, much to the delight of #Shara fans, these reports were waved off as rumors when the couple graced the red carpet of an award function hand in hand. It was suggested that they were working through a rough patch. Sadly, the latest update is that Raqesh and Shamita have now parted ways for good.

In a report shared by Filmfare, a source close to the ex couple was quoted saying, “Shamita Shetty and Raqesh Bapat have amicably parted ways. Both of them have immense respect for each other and will continue to be friends. The duo recently shot for a music video which will soon release and the fans will be able to witness their chemistry on the screen once again.”

Recently when they shared BTS snaps while shooting for the music video, fans were glad to see them back together after so long. We are sure many will be heartbroken to hear Shamita and Raqesh have called it quits. But let’s wait for the two to confirm the same.
