If one had to make a list of the most awaited films of the year, then, the Rohit Shetty directed Singham Again will surely find its place amongst the top of that list. And it has every reason to be there. Firstly, the film sees the culmination of all the three Singhams under one roof (read ‘screen’) viz., Ajay Devgn, Ranveer Singh and Akshay Kumar. Second and the most important thing is that, the film will be directed by none other than Rohit Shetty, who is single-handedly responsible for delivering massive hits with his Singham series.
Speaking of Singham, today, Rohit Shetty took to social media and dropped the photographs of Ajay Devgn, from their Kashmir schedule. One glimpse at these photographs will be reason good enough for the film to be termed as the most awaited film of the year.
After posting the photographs of Ajay Devgn, Rohit Shetty captioned the same stating, ‘BAJIRAO SINGHAM! SSP (SOG) SPECIAL OPERATIONS GROUP JAMMU & KASHMIR POLICE… SINGHAM AGAIN… COMING SOON! #singhamagain’. Ajay Devgn, who will be seen in the role of Bajirao Singham looks as dapper and uber cool as Bajirao Singham can get and look in the unform of a police officer. What adds ‘complementing glitter’ to his look are the stylish sunglasses, which seamlessly completes the look!
In no time after Rohit Shetty posted the said photo, there were many netizens who were seemingly overwhelmed seeing Ajay Devgn in the ‘OG’ Singham avatar! While one netizen wrote, ‘OMG! Rohit Shetty sir, you simply made my day. I adore and love and worship Ajay Devgn sir and a policeman. I take inspiration from him. Today, after posting these photo, I promise I will become a cop like Singham Bajirao one day in real life and punish the culprits and criminals’, there was another who wrote, ‘Singham Again All time Blockbuster. Just the film the silver screen and Bollywood needs for the box office to be on fire!’
As for the film Singham Again, besides the trio of Ajay Devgn, Ranveer Singh and Akshay Kumar, it also stars Kareena Kapoor, Deepika Padukone, Tiger Shroff and above all, there’s Arjun Kapoor in a negative role for the first time in his career!
The film is slated to be released on August 15, 2024.
