Soha Ali Khan recalls Saif Ali Khan’s first meeting with husband Kunal Kemmu; this is how her brother reacted

Soha Ali Khan has carved a niche for herself in Bollywood, independent of her influential family, due to her unique career choices. She is married to actor Kunal Kemmu, who recently turned director with Madgaon Express. Recently, Soha revealed that her brother, Saif Ali Khan was quite taken by Kunal during their first meeting and kept on stroking his biceps.

Soha recounts Saif’s first meeting with Kunal

During an interview with Curly Tales, Soha was asked about Saif’s reaction to meeting her husband Kunal for the first time. She replied, “My brother was lovingly stroking Kunal’s biceps.” Recalling Saif's first meeting with Kunal, Soha said that her brother was quite taken by Kunal and even asked him where he used to work out.

Soha revealed, “Firstly I think he thought that Kunal was a nice specimen of a human being and what I think most people appreciate about Kunal is that he doesn’t pretend to be anything that he is not.” She also pointed out that in the initial meetings with Saif Ali Khan or Sharmila Tagore, people might feel intimidated or feel the need to amp it up a bit but Kunal had never done that. That kind of security and that kind of integrity struck a chord with her, she added.

Soha on her equation with brother Saif

Speaking about her equation with actor-brother, Saif Ali Khan, Soha revealed that he is unique and has never been that traditional, overprotective older brother. She said that he had always been there for her and had looked after her while being appreciative of her. The actress also claimed that the relationship is very refreshing even though the two are nine years apart. Soha also stated that he has lived a colourful life, and he is not conservative.

For the unversed, Soha Ali Khan has acted in films such as Rang De Basanti, Tum Mile and Dil Maange More, among others. She tied the knot with actor Kunal Kemmu in 2015. Soha will feature next in Amazon Prime Video’s horror drama film Chhorii 2.
