Sorcerer Supreme Wong confirmed to appear in the upcoming MCU series She-Hulk: Attorney at Law

One of the MCU's fan-favorite characters Wong played by actor Benedict Wong will make an appearance in She-Hulk : Attorney at Law which has been officially confirmed by the studio.

Wong has only risen in popularity in the Marvel universe since his first appearance in 2016 on Doctor Strange. This new cameo will also be his fourth appearance in the MCU's fourth phase.

He previously appeared in Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings, Spider-Man : No Way Home, and played a big role in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness.

The new show will focus on Jennifer Walters an attorney who specializes in superhero related cases and is a cousin of Bruce Banner aka The Hulk. After getting an emergency blood transfusion from him she gets the same powers as the Hulk.

But unlike the Hulk, she has more control over her emotions and still maintains her personality and wit. In the comics, She-Hulk is known for her sense of Humour and occasionally breaking the fourth wall.

The show will also mark the return of actor Tim Roth who played Emil Blonsky aka Abomination in The Incredible Hulk movie and was last seen fighting Wong in Shan-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings.

This could be one of the reasons for the Sorcerer Supreme to make an appearance in the show as well his relationship with Bruce Banner who was also seen talking to Wong at the end of Shang-Chi.

The cast of the show includes Tatiana Maslany, Mark Ruffalo, Tim Roth, Benedict Wong, Ginger Gonzaga, Josh Segarra, Jameela Jamil, Renée Elise Goldsberry, and Jon Bass.

She-Hulk: Attorney at Law will stream on Disney + on August 17, 2022.
