Kajol won the internet over with her tribute to 25 years of her iconic movie Kuch Kuch Hota Hai. The 1998 movie starred her alongside Shah Rukh Khan and Rani Mukerji revolving around an innocent college love triangle that soon blossoms into a mature entanglement of emotions. The actress went on a trip down memory lane and stepped into the shoes of Anjali after 25 years.

She wore Anjali’s iconic sporty outfit, a black tracksuit along with white stripes and a baseball cap. She could be seen sporting some goofy expressions totally basking in the quirkiness of her character all over again. Kajol penned a heartwarming note paying a befitting ode to this milestone of a movie. She said, “Stepping back into Anjali’s shoes after 25 years ( couldn’t find the basketball though).

I was 8 years old at that time. I fell in love at first sight with you when you wore black saree in Ladki Badi Anjani Hai. I asked my aunt, "Who is this beautiful woman?" and she answered "Kajol". Since then, I started watching your movies, and then decided to become your fan (Kajolic). Thank you @kajol for Anjali. I Love You.” For the unversed, the actress could not attend the 25-year celebration event for the movie but sent a special message for everyone present.
