When Shah Rukh Khan's CA claimed his wife Gauri Khan is only family member making money

Superstar Shah Rukh Khan is one of the most affluent actors, while his wife Gauri Khan has established herself as an interior designer. In one of the episodes of the Netflix series Fabulous Lives Of Bollywood Wives, Karan Johar , who is a close friend of SRK, revealed that SRK’s CA once claimed that his wife is the only profitable member of the house.

It so happened during a chat with actor Sanjay Kapoor’s wife Maheep Kapoor and Gauri Khan, Karan recalled a funny anecdote that SRK has shared with him. “The other day Shah Rukh had made me laugh so much. He said, ‘Since we have gone into this pandemic, the only family member who is making money in this house is Gauri.’ His chartered accountant had called and said, ‘Why don’t you learn something from your wife? She is the only profitable member in the house,'” said Karan. Reacting to this, Gauri blushed and said that his husband likes to hype her a bit from time to time. "He loves to say all these things," she added.

Meanwhile, Shah Rukh has long stayed away from films. He was last seen in Aanand L Rai’s 2018 film, Zero, alongside Anushka Sharma and Katrina Kaif. Presently, the actor is all set to make his comeback with Pathaan directed by Siddharth Anand. The film also stars Deepika Padukone and John Abraham. Besides it, he is also shooting for Atlee’s Jawan alongside Nayanthara, and for another movie Dunki directed by Rajkumar Hirani co-starring Taapsee Pannu.

Speaking about Fabulous Lives of Bollywood Wives, the show talks about the lives of four star wives—-Neelam Kothari, Maheep Kapoor, Seema Sajdeh, and Bhavana Pandey. Recently, the second season of the show dropped and featured Gauri, Karan, Badshah, Sima Taparia, Ranveer Singh and Shweta Bachchan among others in special appearances.
