It is not a hidden fact that two much-awaited films are clashing with each other on December 1, 2023. Yes, we are talking about the Ranbir Kapoor starrer Animal and Vicky Kaushal’s Sam Bahadur. Now, Vicky has opened up about this clash and has given a mature reply using the analogy of cricket.

The actor called himself and Ranbir players for the same team which is ‘Hindi cinema.’ The Uri: The Surgical Strike actor in a conversation with Express Adda said, “When two opening batsmen come to the crease, playing for the same team, you won’t say that the two batsmen are clashing with each other, they are playing for a single team, so we are playing for Hindi cinema.”Adding to this, Vicky said that while one player might score big, the other one might move at a slower pace. He said. “While one player might hit fours and sixes, the other player will be at the crease and take ones and twos and maintain the strike.”

He was furthermore asked which movie might triumph at the box office to which Kaushal said, “The audience will decide.”The fact that Animal is also being released in other regional languages might come as a threat to Sam Bahadur’s box office collection is not bothering the Govinda Naam Mera actor. He said, “If the audience resonates with the films, both the films will work. I’m as excited for Animal as anyone else. It should be a great day for the audience, we work for that, not for each other.” Interestingly, Vicky and Ranbir earlier worked together in the blockbuster film Sanju.

Talking about Sam Bahadur, the movie is based on the real-life courageous and valiant story of the first field marshal, Sam Manekshaw. It has been helmed by Meghna Gulzar. The movie also stars Sanya Malhotra and Fatima Sana Shaikh in pivotal roles.
