'You pout much more ...': Manish Malhotra takes a funny dig at birthday boy Karan Johar's camera pose

As filmmaker Karan Johar turned a year older today(May 25, 2023), his closest friend and fashion designer Manish Malhotra shared a special post on social media. He took to Instagram and posted a series of pictures of himself with the birthday boy and penned a sweet note. He also took a dig at his camera poses by saying that he pouts more than him.

“Happy birthday Karan .. 30 years of friendship and that many years of working with @dharmamovies .. from all the travel to our discussions on clothes, movies and life and posing for the camera you pout much more than me.. and most importantly our honesty to each other .. @karanjohar #friendsforever lots of love have the best year ahead, ”he captioned the post. Soon after the fans showered love on their friendship, while trolls made fun.

“You both are looking like brothers,” wrote one of the users. The second user stated, “ Looking good gellers.” However, a troll wrote, “Aap dono ko officially marriage kar leni chahiye ab to “ Another added, “Ismese husband konsa or wife konsa he.” “They r so sweet - sweet”, “2gay in one frame” were the other comments. For the unversed, Manish and Karan had been rumoured to be in a relationship, however, the two never reacted to the speculations.

Meanwhile, Karan recently shared the first look posters of his upcoming directorial Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani on his birthday. The film stars Alia Bhatt and Ranveer Singh in lead roles, while Dharmendra, Jaya Bachchan and Shabana Azmi are in supporting roles. Backed by Dharma Productions, the film is set to arrive in theatres on July 28, 2023. The film marks his return to director’s chair after a hiatus of seven years. His last directorial was Ae Dil Hai Mushkil which featured Ranbir Kapoor, Anushka Sharma, and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan. On the other hand, Manish Malhotra is all set to showcase his collection in a fashion show at IIFA Rocks 2023 to be held on May 26, 2023.
