Aashiqui 3 makers want to pair up Kartik Aaryan opposite Rashmika Mandanna, here's why
After witnessing Kartik and Rashmika in the recent ad and all rage around it, Aashiqui 3 makers come to believe that the audience would love to see the two actors in a full fledged movie.
Ever since Kartik Aaryan was roped in to take forward the superhit franchise Aashiqui, fans are eagerly waiting to know who is going to be the leading lady. Several names popped up from Deepika Padukone to TV actress Tejasswi Prakash while guessing the female lead role, but the makers did not confirm any. However, the latest development suggests that they are keen to cast Pushpa fame Rashmika Mandanna opposite Kartik and they have a solid reason.
According to the reports, the makers are looking for a fresh pairing in the upcoming Aashiqui 3 . They recently witnessed Kartik and Rashmika in the recent ad for a hair care brand and all rage around it. Hence, they have come to believe that the audience would love to see the two actors in a full fledged movie. “Kartik and Rashmika are a fresh pair. Kartik has done films with Kriti Sanon, Kiara Advani and even Ananya Panday. He needs to be paired with new faces. The ad that Kartik and Rashmika did together is a rage. There is a population out there waiting to see them together in a full-fledged film,” a source close to Instant Bollywood told.
For those unaware, Kartik and Rashmika collaborated together for a hair care advertisement. Kartik shared the ad on his Instagram handle and the fans gushed over his onscreen chemistry with Rashmika. The upcoming Aashiqui 3 will be directed by Anurag Basu, while the previous installment Aashiqui 2 was helmed by Mohit Suri and starred Aditya Roy Kapur and Shraddha Kapoor.
Apart from Aashiqui 3, Kartik has Shehzada opposite Kriti Sanon, Satyaprem Ki Katha with Kiara Advani, Freddy with Alaya F, Captain India, and an untitled film with Kabir Khan. On the other hand, Rashmika is soon be making her Bollywood debut with Goodbye co-starring Amitabh Bachchan and Neena Gupta.
