Aayush Sharma exits Salman Khan starrer Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali, will not play character roles anymore

After the success of Antim: The Final Truth , Salman Khan and his brother-in-law actor Aayush Sharma were to reunite in the film Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali. However, it now seems that will no longer be happening. Reportedly the Farhad Samji directorial is to go on floors in March but Aayush will no longer be a part of the project.

Salman who plays the lead in the film which will be a story about brothers, however, after receiving high praise for his performance in Antim, Aayush is no longer interesting in his character role in Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali according to Bollywood Hungama .

Aayush was to play Salman’s younger brother in the project and his role apparently wasn’t a meaty one as the film is focused on the superstar. With Salman’s blessing the actor has reportedly opted out of the film while Zaheer Iqbal will continue to be a part of the project as his other brother.

Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali also stars Pooja Hegde opposite Salman. It has also been said that South star Venkatesh has been roped in a parallel lead and a South Indian actress will be seen opposite him in the project.

The casting for the project is still on and reportedly the makers are hoping to get the key members will on board by the end of February, including Aayush’s replacement.

Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali is being bankrolled by Sajid Nadiadwala who has previously worked with Salman on projects like Kick, Mujhse Shaadi Karogi , Judwaa among others. The star is currently busy with Tiger and this project which has been long stalled due to Covid-19 pandemic is next on his agenda.
