Akhanda 2: Here’s an exciting update from the Nandamuri Balakrishna-starrer sequel!

Akhanda 2 is one of the most anticipated films among Telugu cinephiles. Superstar Nandamuri Balakrishna is collaborating with Boyapati Sreenu once again after the success of the first installment, Akhanda, which was one of the biggest blockbusters. Now, according to the latest reports, it has been revealed that the makers of the film have wrapped up the first draft of the scripting and are focusing on making further changes to enhance the story. Reports also suggest that lyricist Kalyan Chakravarty is also part of the scripting process.

Post the pre-production works, the team will soon begin filming, for which locations such as Araku and Kochi are being scouted. This new update has generated a lot of excitement among those who are eagerly awaiting to watch the movie on the big screen soon!

Directed by Boyapati Sreenu, the upcoming film is set to delve deeply into Shaivism. The film will emphasize the importance of Hindu temples in South India. Moreover, Bollywood actor Sanjay Dutt, who has been on a signing spree in South films, is said to play a pivotal role in this Balakrishna film. The movie is said to be bankrolled by Geetha Arts, the prestigious banner headed by Allu Aravind, and will be made on a massive scale.

Can Boyapati Sreenu make a hit with Akhanda 2?

After the success of Akhanda, Boyapati Sreenu went ahead and directed Ram Pothineni-starrer Skanda. Well, now the director has pinned all his hopes on the upcoming Balakrishna-starrer sequel to make a strong comeback. Will he be able to deliver yet another blockbuster?
