‘Alia ki awaaz baith chuki hai’: Ranbir complains about Brahmāstra promotions; Ayan gives his secret Insta account a warning

Much before Brahmāstra: Part One – Shiva arrived in theatres, Ranbir Kapoor along with his wife Alia Bhatt and director Ayan Mukerji had set out on a hectic promotional spree. They left no stones unturned to make their film one of the biggest and most awaited releases of the year. Even post release, the team continued to attend media events and urged fans to watch the spectacle on the big screen. Now after breaking records at the box office, Brahmāstra is taking the digital route. Does that mean more promotions? Well, Ranbir hopes not!

In a hilarious video shared by Alia on her official social media handle, Ranbir can be seen complaining about their hectic promotions on a phone call. The actor says, “I'm done. I'm done with Brahmastra promotions, I'm done with Ayan Mukerji.” He then compares Alia repeating ‘Shiva Shiva’ in the movie to their continuous promotions. Ranbir adds, “Khud dance karke bhoot ban chuka hun main. Alia ki awaaz baith chuki hai har event pe Kesariya gaate gaate.” Ranbir further states that their film is a monster hit and now he wants to focus on his personal life-- on becoming a father.

Right then he gets a call from Ayan and Ranbir flips! The actor agrees that they should begin promotions as their film gets ready to release on Disney+Hotstar. But after cutting the call, a frustrated Ranbir slams his face with a pillow multiple times. It is absolutely hilarious! Well, Ayan also shared this clip along with a warning for Ranbir and his ‘secret Instagram account’. The filmmaker wrote: “Ranbir, I hope you’re reading this from your secret Instagram account —- You have 2 more parts to go on Brahmāstra so you better be nice to me !!!😂😂😂”

Well, we have to say this is one of the most incredible ways of announcing a film’s release date. We love it!
