Brahmāstra: Ranbir Kapoor and Ayan Mukerji twin in white as they jet off to Visakhapatnam; watch

Bollywood heartthrob Ranbir Kapoor was last seen on the big screen in the 2018 film Sanju. It has been four long years and fans are now eagerly waiting for him to return with a bang. Much to our delight, two of his projects are complete and ready for release! While Shamshera is expected to arrive in theatres in July, Brahmāstra is all set to release on 9th September. Also starring his wife Alia Bhatt and megastar Amitabh Bachchan along with television’s Naagin Mouni Roy , the Ayan Mukerji directorial is one of the most anticipated films of the year!

Well early today morning, Ranbir and his director buddy Ayan were spotted at the Kalina airport before they headed to Visakhapatnam. They will be meeting filmmaker SS Rajamouli in Vizag where they will begin the divine journey to Brahmāstra Part One: Shiva. According to reports, the three will seek blessings at the Simhachalam temple before interacting with fans at a meet and greet held at Melody Theatre. However, it has not been revealed if Alia will join them anytime soon or not.

After wrapping up Brahmāstra and Shamshera, Ranbir took two other exciting projects on floors-- Luv Ranjan’s romantic comedy co-starring Shraddha Kapoor , Boney Kapoor and Dimple Kapadia, and Sandeep Vanga's crime drama Animal alongside National Crush Rashmika Mandanna , Anil Kapoor and Bobby Deol . Meanwhile, Alia has been busy shooting for Karan Johar ’s directorial Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani in which she will reunite with her Gully Boy co-star Ranveer Singh .

A day before Alia and Ranbir’s wedding last month, Ayan and KJo unveiled the teaser of Brahmāstra’s first track Kesariya to celebrate the couple. Sometime back, Rajamouli shared the Telugu version of the song, titled Kumkumala.
