'Dasara' becomes Nani's highest grossing movie in America

Nani 's first movie of the year Dasar has become one of the highest-grossing movies of the actor's career. The movie has grossed 92 crores in just five days.

The movie grossed an impressive 38 crores on its opening day making it one of the best openings In Nani's career.

Now the movie has set a new record for the actor by becoming the highest grossing movie in the actor's career in the US markets.

So far the movie has grossed over 1.7 million in the U.S. and Canada beating out his old record of 1.5 million set up by his 2015 movie Bhale Bhale Magadivoy.

In the movie Nani is playing the role of Dharani, The movie is a rural drama set in the late 80s and early 90s and is set against the backdrop of the Singareni coal mines in Telangana.

Malayalam actor Shine Tom Chacko plays the main antagonist in the movie, the movie marks his Telugu debut.

The shooting for the upcoming action-drama movie officially wrapped earlier this month. The movie marks the directorial debut of Srikanth Odela and stars Keerthy Suresh and Nani.

The movie was well revied by critics and audiences alike with many praising the performances of Nai and Keerthy Suresh.

The production for the movie began in March 2022. Dasara is produced by Sudhakar Cherukuri under the banner Sri Lakshmi Venkateswara Cinemas.

The cinematography for the movie is being done by Sathyan Sooryan, with editing being handled by National Award winner Naveen Nooli.

Joining Keerthy Suresh and Nani, the rest of the supporting cast includes Samuthirakani, Dheekshith Shetty, Meera Jasmine, Prakash Raj, Rajendra Prasad, Roshan Mathew, Sai Kumar, Zarina Wahab, and Shanna Kasim.
