Dream Girl 2: Ayushmann aka Pooja gives Pathaan 'smoochies' on Valentine's Day; fans ask ‘Eska bhi cross over hoga kya’

Four years ago, Ayushmann Khurrana left us in awe of his female voice impersonation in Raaj Shaandilyaa’s Dream Girl. The versatile actor, who is no less than a chameleon on the silver screen, played the role of a cross-gender actor who took up a job at a call center where ladies entertain men over the phone. Things got difficult when his customers started falling in love with Pooja, the name he used for calls. Much to our delight, a few months ago Ayushmann shared a hilarious clip. Not only did he take a dig at Bollywood's low phase but also announced a spiritual sequel to his film.

Ayushmann and his new co-star Ananya Panday announced that their film would arrive in theatres on 29th June. However, on the occasion of Valentine’s Day, the actor shared a new clip as our beloved Pooja! This time, she got a call from Shah Rukh Khan aka Pathaan . Ayushmann looks no less than a stunner, with his back to the camera, as he flirts on the phone. Pathaan wished her a happy Valentine’s Day and told her that his next film Jawan is releasing soon. Hearing this, Pooja replied that she is also returning to the silver screen on 7th July. When Pathaan asked ‘sacchi’, Pooja showered him with kisses and replied, “Smoochie!”

The release date of Dream Girl has now shifted from June to July. But after watching this hilarious promo, fans are more interested in finding out if Bollywood’s superstar Shah Rukh has a cameo in the sequel of this comedy drama. In the comment section below, one social media user asked, “Ye bhi spy universe ka part hai kya? Eska bhi cross over hoga kya? @ayushmannk”, whereas another netizen wrote: “Looks like SRK will have cameo in this movie😍.” One fan even called Ayushmann ‘Full Time SRKian Part Time Actor’. Meanwhile, others gushed over Ayushmann’s performance as Pooja. For instance, one comment read: “You are putting Bollywood heroines into rest😂🤣🤣.”
