    After the 2009 film Paa, Amitabh Bachchan is reuniting with his son Abhishek Bachchan and also director R Balki after many years.

    Legendary actor Amitabh Bachchan is all set to play the cameo role of a commentator in his son Abhishek Bachchan ’s upcoming film, Ghoomer directed by filmmaker R Balki. The actor will soon start shooting for his part in the last schedule of the film.

    The R Balki directorial also stars Shabana Azmi , Saiyami Kher , Angad Bedi , and Shivendra Singh Dungarpur in prominent roles. The shooting of the film commenced in February and recently the team has started shooting the last schedule at the DY Patil Sports Stadium in Navi Mumbai. However, Amitabh will shoot for his portion separately in another location in Mumbai.

    “Amit ji will be a part of the last schedule of the film, however he won’t be shooting at the DY Patil stadium. His portion will be shot separately at another location. The film revolves around cricket, and he will essay the role of a commentator in Ghoomer. Amit ji has featured in all R Balki films, and they are excited to collaborate for this one too. Meanwhile, Balki has simultaneously begun work on the post-production of the movie,” revealed a source to Pinkvilla.

    After the 2009 film Paa , Amitabh Bachchan is reuniting with his son Abhishek Bachchan and also director R Balki after many years. Earlier, Abhishek had shared the picture of the film’s clapboard placed in front of Lord Ganesha’s frame to announce Ghoomer. “Can’t ask for a better birthday present! Birthdays are best spent working. घूमर. Now spinning,” he had written on his Instagram post.

    Besides Ghoomer, Amitabh will next be seen in Ayan Mukerji ’s Brahmastra alongside Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor . He also has Vikas Bahl’s Goodbye , a Hindi remake of Hollywood flick The Intern , and Sooraj Barjatya ’s Uunchai in the pipeline.
