Amitabh Bachchan recently took to his social media handle to promote controversial producer-actor-film critic Kamaal R Khan’s biography titled ‘Controversial KRK .’ The actor tweeted a small teaser of the book. However, his post left the netizens rather surprised and some even wondered whether his account has got hacked.
Talking about the same, the teaser of the biography shows that the book will be on the ‘most controversial producer, writer, actor and film critic.’ The book has been penned by Ranbir Pushp. Take a look at his tweet.
However, soon netizens started taking several digs at the superstar for promoting KRK’s biography. One user stated, “Is Bachchan sb’s account hacked? I believe so. Because this doesn’t look like his tweet.” Another netizen stated, “Kya din aa gaye he sir aapke krk ko promote kar rahe ho.” One fan also wrote, “How much you received for this paid tweet sir ???” while another user stated, “Sir, with due respect, iska promotion apka demotion karwa dega.” One user furthermore wrote, “His account is either hacked or it’s a paid tweet.” One of the fans also pointed out to Amitabh Bachchan that KRK had trolled his movie Runway 34 sometime back and questioned the megastar for promoting the same person’s biography.
KRK expressed his gratitude to Amitabh Bachchan by sharing his tweet and captioning it stating, “Thank you so much, sir @SrBachchan.” One of the netizens hit back at the film critic by stating, “Didn't you just feel ashamed even for a second before doing this? After criticizing Bachchan movies throughout and bowing to the greatest legend for the same during your personal need.” KRK is often known for his controversial and explosive tweets and opinions on members of the movie fraternity as well as the movies that he tends to review. Last year, Salman Khan had filed a case against him for allegedly telling defamatory statements in the review of the movie, Radhe: Your Most Wanted Bhai.
