Heart Of Stone: Alia Bhatt on shooting her 1st action film during pregnancy; reveals she felt homesick in London

Back in May this year, Bollywood beauty Alia Bhatt jetted off to London to begin shooting for her Hollywood debut project Heart Of Stone . Helmed by Tom Harper, the much anticipated film also stars Gal Gadot and Jamie Dornan in the lead. A month later, the actress took to her social media handle to announce that she and husband Ranbir Kapoor are expecting their first child. It was an exciting and surely overwhelming time for Alia! Just last month, she returned home to her doting husband after wrapping up her first Hollywood film.

In a recent interview with Variety, Alia shared, “It was my first Hollywood big English picture experience and I had quite a task at hand because I was shooting for the first time an action movie. But I’m also pregnant so there were so many layers for me to deal with. But they made it so seamless and so easy and so comfortable for me. It’s something that I will never forget because of how beautifully and how well I was treated.”

Alia went on to reveal that the entire team took care of her even when she felt homesick while working in London. She further added, “I had such a lovely time shooting with Gal [Gadot], with Jamie Dornan and with my director Tom Harper. I think we’re onto something pretty cool with ‘Heart of Stone’ and I can’t wait for the world to see it.”

Apart from Heart Of Stone, Alia has many other exciting films in the pipeline at the moment. She recently wrapped up Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani and is now gearing up for the release of Brahmastra and Darlings.
