'Hrithik se panga mehenga padega Prabhas ko': As Project K makers announce release date, netizens compare it with Fighter

The year 2024 will witness several big-budgeted action movie releases including Hrithik Roshan starrer Fighter , Allu Arjun’s Pushpa 2, and Akshay Kumar starrer Bade Miyan Chote Miyan among others. The latest addition to the list is Prabhas , Deepika Padukone, and Amitabh Bachchan starrer action drama Project K. On Saturday, the makers finally announced that the film is set to hit big screens on January 12, 2024.

While Prabhas’ film will not have a direct clash with Hrithik’s Fighter which is slated for January 25, 2024, it will definitely affect each other’s box office trade. As trade analyst Taran Adarsh shared the news on Instagram, a section of people began comparing the two much-awaited January releases. While a section of people gave major thumbs up to Hrithik’s film, others seemed hopeless about Prabhas’ film considering his recent failed projects. One user wrote, “Isi film ke saath Prabhas ka career finish ho jayega. Likh ke le lo.” Another commented, “My money save to watch fighter not for project K.” One of the netizens reacted, “Only FIGHTER wait and watch pata chal jayega Prabhas bada hai ya Hrithik no one can match Hritik level khaskar mota Prabhas to nahi.” “Hrithik se panga mehga padega Prabhas ko,” added another.

Directed by Nag Ashwin, Project K is an upcoming Indian science fiction film set in a futuristic world & deals with the aftermath of World War 3. The film marks Prabhas’ first collaboration with Deepika Padukone and Amitabh Bachchan. The film also has Disha Patani in a key role. On the other hand, Fighter will see Hrithik Roshan and Deepika playing Indian Air Force pilots. Besides them, the film also has Anil Kapoor, Karan Singh Grover, and Akshay Oberoi in prominent roles. Fighter will be Siddharth Anand’s next outing after huge success of his recently released Pathaan.
