Jawan teaser: Shah Rukh Khan makes impressive comeback as wounded fighter in Atlee's film

Superstar Shah Rukh Khan makes a grand comeback in Atlee’s film titled Jawaan. The actor dropped the first teaser of this upcoming movie revealing his new avatar as a fighter. Taking to Instagram, the actor shared the much-anticipated teaser of the film calling it ‘an explosive entertainer’

The two-minute-long teaser shows Shah Rukh in a rugged look covering his wounded face with a cloth as he gears up for a big mission. He can be seen packing guns and bullets in a bag and heading to board a train after the orders come from the higher authority. Take a look:

After hiatus of four years, King Khan has returned to amaze the audience in a never seen avatar. The actor will share screen space with South actress Nayanthara for the first time. Reportedly, Nayanthara will essay the role of an investigating officer, while Shah Rukh will reportedly be seen in a double role in the film. It was also reported that SRK's first character will be seen in the role of a son who is a gangster and the other would be the father who plays a senior RAW officer. The film also stars Sanya Malhotra in an important role.

Talking about the film, Shah Rukh Khan said , “ Jawan is a universal story that goes beyond languages, geographies and is for all to enjoy. Credit goes to Atlee for creating this unique film, which has also been a fantastic experience for me as I love action films! The teaser is the just tip of the iceberg and gives a glimpse into what’s to come”.

 “Jawan has something in it for everyone be it actions, emotions, drama all woven into create a visual spectacle. I want to give the audiences an exceptional experience, an event which they all can enjoy together and who better to deliver it than Shah Rukh Khan himself, presented like never before”, said Atlee about creating Jawan.

The film is set for Pan- India release in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, and Kannada on June 2, next year. Earlier, Shah Rukh’s production house, Red Chillies Entertainment had shared an official note on their social media handle that the long-waited teaser will drop today at 2:pm. "We know, you have been waiting and it’s almost here! See you at 2 PM." We announce our most ambitious movie!" the makers captioned the post. However, the makers had not shared any details about the film.

Meanwhile, Shah Rukh was last seen in Aanand L Rai ’s Zero in 2018. Besides Jawan, he will be seen next in Pathaan opposite Deepika Padukone and John Abraham in the lead. He also has Rajkumar Hirani 's Dunki with Taapsee Pannu .
