Jee Le Zaraa put on hold as Priyanka Chopra Jonas, Katrina Kaif and Alia Bhatt’s dates don’t match?

It was a huge surprise for fans when Farhan Akhtar and Zoya Akhtar announced that after iconic hits like Dil Chahta Hai and Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara , they are now ready to make an all-girl road trip film, titled Jee Le Zaraa. What left us even more excited, and also made us sure that this project is one to look out for, was the stellar star cast which features Bollywood’s queens Priyanka Chopra Jonas, Katrina Kaif and Alia Bhatt . So much talent, star power and glamour in one frame-- fans just couldn’t keep calm.

But sadly, we will have to keep our calm because latest buzz has revealed that the much awaited film has been put on hold for now. In a report shared by Pinkvilla, a source was quoted saying, “While everyone was excited to go on a fun road trip from September this year, all the plans have changed. The bulk dates of the three protagonists are not matching for now, and this has led to an indefinite delay in the film. A new timeline will be chalked only once everything will be locked.”

The source further shared that there’s a high possibility the film will be pushed to the end of 2023, but the team will only be sure about it in the coming few months. Meanwhile, the script and screenplay is locked. Well, this sure is a buzz kill for fans who were eagerly looking forward to Priyanka, Alia and Katrina’s casting coup in Jee Le Zaraa. Currently Alia is busy shooting for her Hollywood debut Heart of Stone and is also gearing up for Brahmastra whereas Priyanka is filming Citadel. Katrina, on the other hand, has projects like Phone Bhoot , Merry Christmas and Tiger 3 in her kitty.
