Actor Salman Khan is all set to kick-start the shooting of his much-anticipated film Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali starting April 2022 with an elaborate helicopter chase sequence. Helmed by Farhad Samji , the film is reported to be a slick action drama starring Pooja Hegde as the female lead.

The actor is currently shooting for the last leg of the much-talked-about Tiger 3 co-starring Katrina Kaif and Emraan Hashmi. After wrapping up the film, he will likely join the Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali team next month as per reports.

According to the report published in Mid Day, the film will hit the floors on April 1 in Mumbai. Salman will commence shooting with his entry sequence that will include a helicopter chase. A source was also quoted saying, “The first sequence is a massive action set-piece for which the stunt directors have been summoned. It will be shot at Helipad in Film City, Goregaon,”. It further stated that the production team intends to complete action scenes before beginning the emotional sequences.

For the uninitiated, Salman will be collaborating for the first time with director Farhad Samji, who has directed films like Entertainment , Housefull 3, and Housefull 4 under Sajid Nadiadwala productions. It is reportedly being said that the actor will portray the role of the eldest brother in the film, who denies getting married, believing it will disrupt the harmony.

The source also added that the film’s scale will be much more lavish compared to Salman’s last collaboration with Sajid Nadiadwala in Kick. The makers have also planned to release the film on December 30 this year.

Besides Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali, Salman has also joined the cast of Chiranjeevi-starrer Godfather to make his Telugu cinema debut. The film will also feature Nayanthara and Ram Charan. The news was confirmed by Chiranjeevi who welcomed Salman by writing, " Welcome aboard #Godfather, Bhai @BeingSalmanKhan!" on Twitter.
