Karan Johar, Varun Dhawan express gratitude as Jugjugg Jeeyo crossed Rs 100 crore mark worldwide
Ever since Jugjugg Jeeyo hit theatres on June 24, it received positive reviews from almost every corner. Directed by Raj Mehta and produced by Karan’s Dharma Productions, the film also stars Anil Kapoor, Neetu Kapoor, Maniesh Paul, and Prajakta Kohli in prominent roles.
The family drama ‘JugJugg Jeeyo’ has entered the Rs100-crore club in worldwide box office collections. Producer Karan Johar and actor Varun Dhawan extended their gratitude to fans for their love and support as their film achieved the feat.
Taking to Twitter, happy Karan dropped a video of Jugjugg Jeeyo and thanked fans for supporting ‘crazy parivar’. He wrote, "With your love and support this crazy parivaar is taking over the box office ! #JugJuggJeeyo enters the 100 Crores club with your love and support (sic)," and added a red heart emoji.

On the other hand, Varun shared the film's poster on his Instagram handle, and wrote,“100 crore worldwide ho gaya hain. Can’t thank you enough aap sab (The film has crossed ₹100 crore worldwide. Can’t thank you all enough).” Actress Kiara Advani also dropped the same poster with the same caption on her Instagram handle. Have a look:

The film has managed to rake in Rs 61 crore till Saturday at the domestic box office. As per trade analyst Taran Adarsh, the film will cross Rs 65 crore in its second weekend. As per the overseas market is concerned, it continues to fare well. In the UK, Australia, New Zealand, and North America, the film is performing extremely well. The film is expected to cross $1.5 mn in North America alone. The worldwide gross collection has crossed Rs 100 crore mark and is likely to cross Rs 150 crore in the coming weeks.
