KGF Chapter 2 box office day 3: Yash's action flick is unstoppable, Hindi version mints Rs 40 crore

    The action extravaganza that is the Yash starrer KGF Chapter 2 has been garnering immense buzz right from its inception. The movie which was released on April 14, went on to collect Rs 240 crore in just 2 days of its release. Now, on its third day and after passing the weekend, the Prashanth Neel directorial has seen a mammoth spike in the Hindi version of the movie’s box office collection.

    The action extravaganza that is the Yash starrer KGF Chapter 2 has been garnering immense buzz right from its inception. The movie which was released on April 14, went on to collect Rs 240 crore in just 2 days of its release. Now, on its third day and after passing the weekend, the Prashanth Neel directorial has seen a mammoth spike in the Hindi version of the movie’s box office collection.

    KGF Chapter 2’s Hindi version has managed to cross the Rs 100 crore mark within just three days of its release. According to a news report in Box Office India, the Hindi version of the movie minted Rs 40 crore on its third day. This has made the total collection to be around Rs 140 crore for the Hindi version.

    The movie will hopefully cross Rs 180 crore in the coming week. The weekend holidays also might have further fueled the collections for KGF Chapter 2. Not only that but KGF Chapter 2 has been receiving a thunderous response in the USA too. Trade analyst Ramesh Bala has tweeted that the Yash starrer has crossed a whopping $3 million in the USA.     K.G.F.: Chapter 2 is written and helmed by Prashanth Neel, one of the most sought-after directors, and produced by Vijay Kiragandur, under the Hombale Films banner. One of the emerging pan-India production houses, Hombale Films is all set to showcase some of the biggest films in Indian cinema over the next two years, including the much-awaited film Salaar starring Prabhas . The movie is being presented in North-Indian markets by Ritesh Sidhwani and Farhan Akhtar’s Excel Entertainment and AA Films. Excel has also given super hits like Dil Chahata Hai, Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara , Dil Dhadakne Do , and Gully Boy to only name a few.
