Kiara Advani has not been approached for Spirit yet; will Rashmika Mandanna share the screen with Prabhas instead?
Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s Spirit will mark superstar Prabhas’ 25th film. While earlier it was reported that Rashmika Mandanna and Kiara Advani are being considered for the female lead, the latter’s spokesperson has now issued an official clarification.
After Radhe Shyam, South superstar Prabhas is all set to collaborate with filmmaker Sandeep Reddy Vanga for his 25th film, titled Spirit . The director, who is currently busy with Ranbir Kapoor starrer Animal , is reportedly finalizing the cast of Prabhas’ film simultaneously. Recent reports suggested that National Crush Rashmika Mandanna and Bollywood beauty Kiara Advani are currently in the running for the lead role. However, the latter’s team has now confirmed that she has not received an offer for Spirit yet.
Kiara’s spokesperson clarified, “In the wake of recent reports and speculations about Sandeep Reddy Vanga's upcoming film starring Prabhas, as Kiara Advani's spokesperson would like to clear the air about the matter. Kiara has not been approached for the film nor has there been any conversation about the same. In case of any update, we would officially announce and inform everyone. Hence, kindly request everyone to refrain from indulging in the rumours.” So is Rashmika the top choice for makers?
Well, Kiara is currently busy gearing up for her upcoming family comedy Jugjugg Jeeyo co-starring Varun Dhawan , Anil Kapoor and Neetu Kapoor. Apart from this exciting release, she has horror comedy Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 opposite Kartik Aaryan , Govinda Naam Mera alongside Vicky Kaushal and Bhumi Pednekar , and Ram Charan’s RC15 in her kitty. Meanwhile, Rashmika is busy shooting for Animal with Ranbir at the moment. She also has films like Mission Majnu , Goodbye , Sita Ramam and Thalapathy 66 in her envious line up.
