It is not a hidden fact that Shah Rukh Khan ’s Pathaan has created a huge thunderstorm at the box office. Within six days of its release, the movie earned Rs 600 crore worldwide. Now the latest development is that the makers of another anticipated film, Kartik Aaryan ’s Shehzada , have postponed its release date with respect for Shah Rukh’s actioner flick.

Talking about the same, trade analyst Taran Adarsh tweeted about the Kartik Aaryan starrer getting postponed. The movie which also stars Kriti Sanon in the lead role was earlier supposed to be released on February 10, will now be released on February 17, 2023. Take a look at the post.

One of the netizens wrote, “mausam sach me bigad gaya hai #Pathaan” while another user said, “Pathaan ne lag raha Mausam kuch zyada hi bigaad diya hai.” A netizen went on to say, “King ka khauf.” Another netizen went on to say, “Kartik ne Apni Kursi ki Peti Baand li , Kyun ki Pathan ne mausam bigaad diya hai.” Well, this also results in Kartik Aaryan’s film clashing with Akshay Kumar and Emraan Hashmi’s Selfiee which seems to be a huge showdown in itself. Some fans also started predicting in the comments section that Shehzada will triumph over Selfiee. A netizen tweeted, “Shehzada opening >>> selfie opening.” A user went on to say, “Right Decision...Let the wave of #Pathaan slow down by 15-16th Feb.”

Earlier, Shehzada’s producer Aman Gill revealed to Etimes that the news of the postponing of the film is true. He was quoted to say, “Yes, we have postponed the film Kartik has immense respect for Shah Rukh and we all love him. We decided that it would be best for our film if we come after a week." The film Shehzada is directed by Rohit Dhawan and is the Hindi remake of the Telugu blockbuster Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo.
