Nawazuddin Siddiqui breaks his silence on The Kashmir Files, says ‘people are watching it so I will also watch it’

Vivek Agnihotri ’s The Kashmir Files was released into the theatres on March 11, 2022, and surpassed everyone’s expectations at the box office. The movie revolves around the gruesome exodus of the Kashmiri Pandits that took place in the year 1990. Now, Nawazuddin Siddiqui has become the latest celeb who has broken the silence on the film and has revealed that he is yet to watch the film but will be watching it soon.

Speaking at ABP Network ’s Ideas Of India Summit, Nawazuddin Siddiqui said, “People are watching it, so I will also watch it.” Furthermore, the Gangs Of Wasseypur actor reacted to some sections of the population dissing the movie. On this, he said, “I have no idea about that. But, every director has a style and point of view for making films. He made a film from his point of view, which is good. Others will also make films from their perspectives, in the future. And, that is great.”

Elaborating on the same, Nawazuddin Siddiqui said that when a filmmaker creates a film, he or she makes it with their perspective with a unique sense of viewing things. The Manjhi- The Mountain Man actor added that every director should be allowed to add their own perspective to movies that are based on real-life incidents. He further denied commenting on the movie as he has still not seen it.

Meanwhile, on the work front, Nawazuddin Siddiqui will be seen in Heropanti 2. The movie also stars Tiger Shroff and Tara Sutaria in the lead roles. The Bajrangi Bhaijaan actor will be seen playing the role of the main antagonist in the movie.

Furthermore, he will be seen in the lead role in the movie Tiku Weds Sheru. The movie also features Avneet Kaur in the role. It is the debut production venture of Kangana Ranaut .
