New Year gift for Mohanlal fans as trailer for his upcoming movie Aarattu to drop on January 1

Despite the recent announcement that Aarattu will get a theatrical release, next February fans were eagerly waiting for a full-length trailer. While a teaser was released earlier it gave us no insight into the movie.

But finally in a new promo for the movie the actor has revealed that the trailer for the movie will be launched on the first day of the new year.

Aarattu is directed by B. Unnikrishnan and written by Uday Krishna and follows the story of Goparajan a real estate tycoon who has to take on a new rival.

The rest of the cast includes Shraddha Srinath, Nedumudi Venu, Ramachandra Rajua, and Sampath Raj in supporting roles, and music composer A. R. Rahman is also said to have a cameo in the movie.

Vijay Ulaganath will be handling the cinematography and Rahul Raj will be helm the music

Aarattu is set to release on 10 February 2022.
