Rakul Preet Singh is the latest celebrity after Rana Daggubati and Ravi Teja to be summoned by the Enforcement Directorate over drug trafficking case probe

Actress Rakul Preet Singh was brought in for Further questions regarding the ongoing probe of drug trafficking and consumption case

This is the second time that Rakul Preet Sing has been summoned by the Enforcement Directorate, The first time was in September 2021, after an investigation found drugs worth Rs 30 lakh in the residence of musician Calvin Mascaren and two others.

The investigation has been ongoing for four years now, with many high-profile celebrities being questioned through the course of the investigation

Back in September, many Tollywood stars Rana Daggubati , Ravi Teja , Charmee Kaur, Navdeep, Mumaith Khan, Tanish, and Nandu were summoned by the ED.

According to the police, around eleven cases have been filed but most of them are against low-level drug traffickers and all the celebrities who have been summoned will be treated as witnesses till any new evidence claims otherwise.

Fans will have to wait till the investigation concludes to know more about the case, and how this news will affect Rakul Preet Sing and her upcoming projects.

Currently, the actress has finished shooting for two of her upcoming projects Chhatriwali and the upcoming Tamil sci-fi comedy movie oppsite Sivakarthikeyan titled Ayalaan.

She is also busy with shoots for the remake of the 2005 Hindi movie Meri Patni Ka, a bilingual movie titled 31 October Ladies Night, as well as the highly anticipated Kamal Hassan movie Indian 2.
