The trailer of Akshay Kumar ’s Ram Setu has finally dropped today (October 11) and the movie promises to give you the right amount of adventure and thrill that you were waiting for. The film has been helmed by Abhishek Sharma. It also stars Jacqueline Fernandez and Nushrratt Bharuccha in the lead roles.

Talking about the trailer begins with a voice-over that says that India runs in the belief of Lord Rama. It then shows the government asking the Supreme Court for permission to demolish the Ram Setu. We see actor Nassar who presumably plays the main antagonist in the film.

Akshay Kumar’s character who is an archeologist is then roped in for leading an archaeological expedition to Ram Setu. The trailer further shows that though Akshay joins hands with those who wish to demolish the Setu, he soon unravels some revelations that make him go on a quest to protect the Ram Setu instead. He also realizes that he has been sent on a ‘suicide mission’ but he takes it on his stride to instead reveal the truth and protect the Ram Setu. Take a look at the trailer.

The trailer showcases Akshay Kumar joined by Satyadev and Jacqueline Fernandez’s characters who presumably are a part of their team. It also can be assumed that Nushrratt Bharuccha’s character is playing Akshay’s wife or love interest in the same. The trailer ends on a powerful note wherein the actor can be seen emerging from the water holding a glowing rock-like structure and a voice-over of his that says ‘There are millions of temples of Lord Rama in India but there is only one Setu.’

The movie is all set to be released on October 25. Akshay Kumar’s salt-and-pepper bearded look is also standing out in the trailer of Ram Setu. Well, it will be interesting to see whether this film will break Kumar’s dull phase at the box office.
